Time for a new head shoot or branding photo shoot? Let's chat about Best TIPS to SHOW up as YOU! With so many options and choices from colors, products, or creating a look to match YOUR style - How do you BEST show up as YOU but also give the BEST look for the camera? I recently partnered with Heike Martin Photography and Carla Saylor as our model for a great photoshoot to put into practice tips for creating the BEST YOU to shine through the camera.
Do you remember those days of FLASH photos with WHITE faces in the 80's and 90's? If you don’t - Ask someone 40+!
Many foundations/makeup cover ups of those days included Titanium Dioxide, a sunscreen ingredient, that reflected the FLASH of the camera, creating that WHITE face... so the products you wear can make a difference to your end result and offer LESS editing and MORE YOU in the process.
So setting, lighting, type of shoot all matter. No Matter the setting, pick a look and style that fits YOUR personal style... don't go with a glamour look if it's not the STYLE you want to portray.
If you are a more natural gal, be sure to wear a look that creates a polished palette on your skin but reflects YOU. Even if you don't generally wear makeup, create a look that will help YOU show up as your best through the camera. Just a hint of products to create a flawless finish will give you a more natural, less edited result.
Unsure where to start... reach out to me and we'll create a great look to have you feeling CONFIDENT in YOUR look.

I share great Simple Beauty tips for BUSY women on FACEBOOK and Instagram
Embrace your natural beauty! This photo is directly from the camera lens, no re-touching. If you like a simple style - just add foundation for a flawless finish, lip color and mascara for definition on those features. This photo also includes a brow tint, soft cheek and a simple eye color to create a smooth finish on the eyelid. By creating that smooth look, it allows more of genuine YOU to shine thru the lens. Less photoshop for the finished product!
Adding a Pop more lip color, contour for eyes and cheeks. Another straight from the camera lens, not retouched photo.
You create the look that matches YOUR style. Think of your face as an art palette. Your makeup style is an expression of you. Carla LOVE's color and having fun with makeup, so we created a complete look!
